SHANGRI-LA HOTELS IN HONG KONG DEBUT A FESTIVAL OF WINE THIS NOVEMBER
Paying homage to hundreds of the finest wines from around the world, Shangri-La’s Assistant Vice President, Regional Wine Program and Master Sommelier, Yohann Jousselin orchestrates an inaugural five-day wine event - "A Festival of Wine by Shangri-La", spanning across three sister properties, Island Shangri-La, Kowloon Shangri-La and Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong from 24 to 28 November 2020.
Guest can learn from wine experts at their 11 unmatched wine events from iconic wine dinners to prestigious luncheons, a wine fair and tasting and an outdoor sparkling sundowner. Introducing over 220 labels of quality wines and champagnes, sourced from old world and new world regions, an epicurean extravaganza awaits where grapes take centre stage.

6th Anniversary Iconic Wine Dinner at Restaurant Petrus
In celebration of the 6th anniversary of our exclusive annual rendezvous of world-renowned fine wines at Restaurant Petrus on 24 November 2020, guests can experience an iconic wine dinner with a curated menu designed by Chef Uwe Opocensky and an extensive selection of rare vintage, including Château La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac Léognan, 1959, Château d’Yquem, Sauternes, 1955, Madeira, Pereira d’Oliviera, Boal, 1908.Wine Fair at The Atrium, Island Shangri-La
A public wine tasting event will be hosted at The Atrium, the elegantly-designed grand function room of Island Shangri-La Hotel, on 25 November 2020 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Connoisseurs can indulge in over a hundred wines from acclaimed wineries. The hotel welcomes you to sample premium wines. The admission fee is priced at HKD280 per person*.

Wine Tasting at Tapas Bar, Kowloon Shangri-La
On the other side of the Victoria Harbour, Tapas Bar at Kowloon Shangri-La will be staging another exceptional wine tasting event on 26 November 2020 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, serving up to 30 fine wines from world-class wine regions in France, Italy, the USA and Australia.Admission is priced at HKD250 per person*, so swing by and grab the tipple of choice. 5-Hour Sparkling Sundown at rooftop bar Red Sugar, Kerry Hotel
Overlooking the priceless sunset against the skyline of Hong Kong as a backdrop, guests can sit back, relax and enjoy glasses of sparkling wine at Red Sugar Terrace, Kerry Hotel. On 28 November 2020 for five hours, Red Sugar be showcasing 20 labels of old world and new world sparkling wines from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm while nibbling on their set of delectable tapas and caviar, nice programme for a delightful weekend.
